Young Artists Juried Exhibition

Exhibit theme: "Visions of Glens Falls"

Glens Falls City Hall Gallery
2nd Floor City Hall
42 Ridge Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801

(Exhibition sites will include other Glens Falls venues
to accommodate accepted entries)

Eligibility:
High School sudents grades 9-12, may exhibit one (1)
work of art in any of the following categories:

Painting
Drawing
Photography
Fabric Design
Graphics

Requirements:
White matting required
Submissions preferably framed
Artwork ready for hanging
Size Limit 36" X 48"
Individual students may submit up to three (3) works
Artwork must be original in concept and execution.

Submission:
Entries will be accepted at Glens Falls City Hall on Saturday, January 26, 2008 between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. There is no entry fee.


NCAC is pleased to be partnering with the Glens Falls Centennial Committee in sponsoring this Young Artists Exhibition. Our Art Gallery is located in Glens Falls City Hall. Exhibit space is limited to about 50 pieces. Other Glens Falls businesses and galleries will be invited to participate as exhibit sites.

Entries will be juried in and then later judged by a panel of three distinguished jurors. Young artists will be recognized for their talent, creativity, and how well their entries represent the theme of the show.

Cash prizes and honors will be awarded at a reception at City Hall Gallery on Friday evening February 8, 2008 at 6:00pm. Refreshments will be served, the public is welcomed.
