December 2007 Annual Glens Falls Area Juried Arts Show

(Crandall Library is under renovation and will not host the exhibit this year)
Eligibility : All artists (amateur and professional) living in a forty mile radius of Glens Falls may exhibit one work of fine art. Crafts, sculpture and photography are not eligible for this show.
Requirements: Paintings must be framed; watercolors, prints and pastels preferably mounted under glass and ready to hang. Because of space limitations, art work with frame dimensions greater than 30" X 40" will not be accepted. All works must be original and must not have been executed under supervision in art classes. Entries should not have been entered previously in any local competition. This year the exhibit will be hosted by the Ridge Street Coffee Co. located a 1 Ridge Street in Glens Falls. The NCAC jury panel will select works to be displayed.
Entry Information: A non-refundable jurying fee of $25.00 must accompany the work of art when brought to the Ridge Street Coffee Co. The Registration Form and Liablility Waiver will be filled out at that time. Checks should be made payable to North Country Arts Center. Drop Off Information: Your artwork, fee, and registration form and waiver will be accepted at the Ridge Street Coffee Co, 1 Ridge Street in Glens Falls, on
SATURDAY DECEMBER 1. 2007 between 10 am and 1 pm.
A North Country Arts Center Representative will accept artwork and assist with completion of the registration form and waiver. Any works not juried into the show may be picked up after the opening of the show.
Reception and Exhibit Information: The exhibit will be installed on Saturday, December 1, and taken down on Saturday, December 29. The artwork will be judged during the first week of December. The public Reception and Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday, December 8th from 6 to 8 pm at the Ridge Street Coffee Co. Coffee and tea for artists and guests will be provided. Specialty drinks and pastries can be purchased. Cash prizes for First, Second, and Third places will be awarded. All works must remain until the end of the show and be picked up if possible on Saturday afternoon, December 29.
